Information we collect
We collect account information such as name, email address, password hash, role, preferences, website records, Pinterest account connection metadata, board data, pin content, queue records, upload metadata, logs, support messages, and settings required to operate the SaaS platform.
Pinterest OAuth data
When you connect a Pinterest account, MegaToolBox stores OAuth metadata and encrypted access or refresh tokens required to sync boards and publish pins. Token values are encrypted at rest and are used only for authorized Pinterest automation actions initiated from your workspace.
How we use data
We use data to authenticate users, secure sessions, manage websites, generate pin content, analyze images, schedule pins, publish through cron, show analytics, maintain audit logs, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Security
We use password hashing, CSRF tokens, session security, rate limiting, token encryption, input validation, upload validation, protected storage folders, and audit logs. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure, but MegaToolBox is designed with layered protections.
Cookies
Essential cookies support login sessions, remember-login behavior, CSRF protection, and theme preference. Additional analytics cookies may be enabled only when configured by the site operator.
Retention
We retain account and workspace records while your account is active. Logs, backups, contact messages, and queue history may be retained for operational, security, and compliance purposes and deleted according to administrator settings.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of your personal information by emailing support@megatoolbox.online. Verification may be required before changes are made.
Third-party services
MegaToolBox integrates with Pinterest through OAuth and API features. Your use of Pinterest is also governed by Pinterest’s own terms and developer policies.
